Sellect Realty was founded by Victor Higgins, a seasoned veteran agent whose real estate career began in 1978. His enthusiasm for all aspects of real estate, coupled with a keen business drive, has made him into a multi-million dollar producer. Over the years, he has worked for traditional real estate companies that are both nationally and locally recognized in the Atlanta area. In this decade, he has begun to see a changing trend in the real estate industry brought on by consumers disillusioned about the high cost of traditional real estate services. He has also become discontent with the mindset of traditional real estate companies and the restrictions it imposed on the quality of his services. In one particular case, he was not allowed to "cut" his commission in order to give a loyal client, who had bought and sold numerous properties through him, because the company would "not make any money." It was for these reasons that he realized tradition would have to give way to the tides of change, and a switch to a new real estate model would have to be made. Thus Sellect Realty was born. Sellect Realty does not "discount" service for discount commissions. Its ideology debunks the myth that consumers either pay a full-fee commission or accept less than full-service treatment. At Sellect Realty, clients receive personalized, high-quality service, as well as the opportunity to keep their hard-earned home equity in their own pockets. Our philosophy, simply, is to deliver the best, quality full-service, yet at a discount price. At Sellect Realty, agents are committed to placing their clients' needs and best interests as their number one priority.
